Zoho presents Aalam Deepam Chennai Duathlon powered by Chennai Cyclists The seventh edition will happen as an in-person event (virtual participation option is also available) and all the proceeds would go towards supporting the annual expenses for the education centers in remote tribal villages.

Event categories - Individual or team:
Olympic - 10 km running and 40 km cycling
Sprint - 5 km running and 20 km cycling
Folks of any gender are welcome to participate, either in person or virtually, as individuals or relay teams. Relay teams can be open or mixed, with one participant running and the other cycling.
Register, run, and ride to support the cause.
Donations for the cause are welcome. The results from the event will be published transparently and all participants will receive regular updates about how the funds are used for the cause.
Duathlon date: 1 February, 2026
Duration: Both the run and the ride need to be completed one after another; the run must be attempted first, followed by the cycling.

Deepam Olympic - Individual (10 km running, 40 km cycling): ₹899
Deepam Sprint - Individual (5 km running, 20 km cycling): ₹899
Deepam Team Relay - Doubles (Olympic and sprint): ₹1,699
Deepam Team Relay Olympic (10 km running, 40 km cycling): ₹1,699
Deepam Team Relay Sprint (5 km running, 20 km cycling): ₹1,699
Notes:
Team relay events involve two people in one team; one person runs while the other person rides and completes the distance.
Rental cycles are available at an additional cost of ₹350.
The registration fee is non-refundable. All registered participants get a T-shirt and finishers receive a finisher medal.
The event is self-timed. Helmets are mandatory for the cycling portion. Riders and runners are responsible for their own safety.
